Weapons/Equipment:

•Helmet: Magneto has a helmet which is able to protect him from any form of phychic attacks however it also prevents him from being able to use his telekinesis. The helmet is also bulletproof.

•Costume: Magneto always wears a costume which can take the form of attire fit for mutant royalty which is what he considered himself to be or that of a garb for battle. When wearing this costume he also wears gloves a cloak and boots.

Powers:

•Magnetokenisis: A power that shows why Magneto is one of the strongest mutants on the planet. This is a power which allows Magneto to manipulate and generate all forms of magnetism to achieve a variety of grandiose and devastating effects.

•Ferrokenisis: Using this power at low level it allows Magneto to altar the trajectory of bullets and he can also lift objects when used at a higher level he can immobilise almost anything and lift up entire structures.

•Magnetic flight: Magneto is capable of flying on the magnetic structures and surfaces that he creates and he can also turn magnetic as well.

•Metal sense: Magneto is able to sense the presence of metals which is crucial to the effective use of his powers.

•Magnetic Shield: Magneto is capable of producing a strong magnetic shield which was impenetrable for the X-men.

•Metallic bonding: This power allows Magneto to implant any form of metal into any object or even a human being in mere seconds. It can be very useful.

Abilities:

•Genius intellect: Magneto is extremely intelligent and he is especially advanced in the field of machinery construction and he is even on intelligence levels with that of Professor X.

•Indomitable will: Magneto has immense determination and a lot of will power to complete tasks no matter how difficult they are.

•Master manipulator: Magneto is an expert in getting others to bend towards his will due to his charm amongst other things and this ability allows Magneto to get other mutants to join him such as those like Mystique and Juggernaut and which later this ability would help Magneto to create his Brotherhood of Mutants.

Talents:

•Multilingual: Magneto is fluent in at least six languages and he can speak his native German and Hebrew and he can also speak English, French and Spanish.

•Skilled combatant: Erik is very skilled in hand to hand combat as has been known when he defended himself against people who tried to kill him.

Weaknesses:

•Arrogance: Despite all of his high intellect Magneto has been known to be arrogant and has been known to underestimate circumstances which has at times led his plans to be blown and putting others in danger too.

•Non-mettalic objects: This is Magneto's greatest weaknesses as he relies on metal to use his power and with none around he is unable to manipulate people and becomes very weak.

•Physical and mental condition: In order for Magneto's power to work at his best he has to be fully focused and concentrated as any distraction can lead to a failure. When injured his is unable to withstand the strain of using metal objects.

Personality:

Erik has lived a very troubled life and he has a hatred for a certain man Sebastian Shaw who murdered his mother. Magneto is extremely devoted to the protection of his kind not caring how many human lives would have to be sacrificed. Erik would however never put his own life at risk always finding a way to put others in his place. Erik is an acceptant of any kind of mutant no matter what sort of past they may have but he firmly believes mutants and humans cannot co-exist.

Erik excels at violence and he is an extremely good skilled killer troubled in his early years mainly by rage but he soon became very cold and calculated.
Erik has killed hundreds of men in his life but despite everything he is a well educated man. He is also very well read and highly intelligent and he is very suave and sophisticated. Erik was also always very well dressed and he loved many fine wines and he is a highly skilled chess player.

History:

Erik was born to a Jewish family in Germany in Dusseldorf. In 1944 Erik was forcibly separated from his family during a Nazi Sas movement at a concentration camp in Auschwitz. Following his anger at this Erik started to develop his powers and was able to bend a metal bar on a gate at the camp.During his time at the concentration camp Erik met with a Nazi call Sebastian Shaw who goes on to become Erik's enemy after he witnessed the murder of his mother in front of him.

Seeing the murder of his mother in front of him totally unleashed Erik's powers and Shaw seeing this tortured Erik further to try and unleash more magnetic power. Erik tracked Shaw down when he emigrated to the US learning of Shaw's whereabouts on a yacht which he tracks down only to be defeated by the Hellfire Club.Erik soon meets Charles Xavier who he teams up with creating a team of young mutants to eliminate all non mutants from the earth.Erik and Xavier soon become good friends at Xavier's house where he trained the young mutants and Erik too. Erik soon leaned of a hellfire Club member and whilst on a mission he captures Emma Frost hoping to find the location of his enemy.

During a confrontation with the Hellfire Club Erik encounters and confronts his enemy Shaw and he at first is submissive to Shaw powers but soon tricks him stealing his helmet and becoming Magneto. He kills Shaw by pushing the coin through his brain killing him and getting his revenge.
Soon after the two countries of the United States and the Soviet union launch an attempt to destroy the mutants and Erik is able to deflect the missiles that are launched and soon after a slight misunderstanding Erik and Charles are in a fist fight but after deflecting a shot from Moira the bullet accidentally cripples Charles.Erik is absolutely devastated by what happens to his old friend and he soon decides to be farewell to his good friend Charles and along with Mystique and the rest of his Hellfire Club Erik departs Charles and he becomes Magneto and sets out to help all mutants and creates the first Brotherhood of Mutants.

Appearance:

Erik appears as a quite tall man of a very muscular type of build of an average weight and he has brown eyes and he is mainly depicted as having grey hair in his older days and brown in his young days. Erik wears a very stylish helmet that contains the main part of Magnetos power and coat and also has matching gloves and boots as well. Erik's costume that he wears when in the form of Magneto is generally of a purple colour and he also tends to wear black coloured trousers too.

Roleplay Sample:

On a dark morning in a secret mountain location the evil Magneto had begun a new experiment working on a new class of mutant species to join his brotherhood. He had been inspired by the defeat of Shaw to create a new magnetised style of mutant.
"I need to be able to get enough metal to be able to produce these species and help to develop the growth of these new mutants" he says as he was with Mystique and using his power to add more metal to his machine.

Hearing of Magneto's plan his old friend Charles did not approve of this new species as he felt Magneto would use them for worse and try to eliminate his X-men students so he had sent a team to stop Magneto and they arrived in the mountain cave only to find Magneto waiting for them.
"I guessed Charles would not approve of my new idea here as it is not to his liking but what i cannot have is all of you coming here trying to stop me" he says as he sees the X-men come in and he acted using his powers to launch magnetic objects at them and making life difficult.

Magneto manages to overcome the X men and they begin to flee having however managed to plant devices to eliminate his contraption and soon after the cave being to blow and Magneto and Mystique get out with his initial plan being a failure and whilst on their way Magneto speaks to Mystique"No need to worry my dear Charles may think he has the advantage over this plan of mine but there is something else i have in mind to create my new mutant species to join the brotherhood" i say to Mystique with a smile on my face thinking about it.
