Personality:

Mary Batson is the twin sister of Billy Batson. She is a young girl who is highly intelligent, she is also very caring towards her family. Mary has a strong will which she has shown that she will do anything to protect her family too and fight any who threatens them. Mary is also very agile and athletic and posseses great powers. She is very courageous. Mary is also different to her brother as well. Mary can be a passive and sometimes shy character at times and she is self esteemed.

History:

Mary and Billy's parents are archeologists and Mary accompanies her parents on expedition to Egypt whilst her brother remains at home. Whilst in Egypt, Mary's parents are killed by the associate Theo Adam who the kidnaps Mary. Upon his return to the US his sister learning of what her brother has done decides to take Mary into her care who then has Mary illegally adopted by her childless employers Nick and Norah Bromfield. With them Mary grows up living an idyllic life with a wealthy family but she constantly thinks of another family and the brother she has never seen.

As a young teenager Mary enters a spelling bee at Fawcett City and emceed by Billy. After saving Mary twice from kidnappers as Captain Marvel, Billy notices how much Mary Bromfield reminded him of Mary Batson and he hired and undercover cop to retrieve the forged adoption papers. He learns Mary is his sister and he tries to figure of a way to let Mary know he is her brother. Suddenly the old Tawky Tawny doll come to life and instructs Billy to take the doll to Mary. He transforms into Captain Marvel and he flies out to the town of Fiarfield to deliver the doll and adoption papers to Mary.

Arriving at the estate Billy delivers the doll to Mary but he is kidnapped by thugs who helped forged adoption papers. Mary takes the package and opens it discovering the doll and the adoption papers. Once again the doll comes to life and urges Mary to say the word Shazam and save her brother. Mary complies and in an instant she is transformed by a bolt of magic lightning into a superhero called Captain Marvel and in this form she saves her brother. After the end of the power of Shazam the name of Mary changed and her superhero name became Mary Marvel and she shared the same powers as her male counterparts.

Appearance:

Mary appears as a young and very beautiful character of medium height for her age who is relatively slim. She has dark brown hair with reaches the top of her shoulders. In her regular form of Captain Marvel the young Mary appears in a red costume which has a yellow lightning bolt on the chest and the costume also features a red skirts with matching boots. In other appearances after her encounter with black Adam, Mary can also appear in a black costume with a yellow lightning bolt on it as well as to distinguish herself from her brother she has also appeared in a white costume with yellow bolt on it.

Roleplay Sample:

Mary Batson was at home with her brother Billy whom she had got to know well recently and she was reading a book when Billy informs her he had to go out and do something. Soon after this Billy is captured by a small group of men who wanted to know the location of the doll that held magic of Shazam. Billy refused to say anything and hoped his sister would be able to find him. Hours later Mary concerned that her brother had not returned yet began to get worried "Where is Billy? He does not usually stay out this long and he always tells me if he is to be late. I must go and find him" she says to herself as she prepares to leave taking the doll with her.

As she left Mary remembered at once where Billy said he was going and she teleports to the location where Billy was and as she arrived she thought it best to use the doll "I need to use the doll here today to be safe and find Billy" she says and cries Shazam! turning into Mary Marvel and soon she comes across Billy and the group of men begin to surround her demanding the doll and Mary is forced to fight them off using her powers to easily defeat them and saving her brother "Billy i am glad you are okay. Let us return home so glad i found you" she says as the two return home.
