•Fantastic four costume: Johnny has a costume and like the rest of his wardrobe is full of unstable molecules and the costume in attuned to his powers with has a data processing system in it and also a telemetric system woven into its fabric making it a wearable computer.

Powers:

•Pyrogenesis: With this power the Human Torch has the mental ability to control ambient heat energy and the physical ability to transform his entire body into a fiery plasma like will.

•Pyrokenesis: With this power Johnny is capable of producing shapes of any form made of fire from any point on his body. With it he can also form more advanced shapes and produce streams of fire and also producing fire letters in the sky.

•Nova flame: The Torch refers to his hottest levels of plasma that he can create as his Nova flame. The exact temperature it can reach is unknown but it is believed that the Torch can stay alight for almost 17 hours. He cannot maintain his Nova flame for as long as he can maintain his standard flame.

•Thermokinesis: With this power Johnny has the ability to mentally control heat energy within his immediate environment even when he is not aflame. With this he can also raise or lower objects temperatures or even extinguish any open flames.

•Superhuman durability: The Human Torch is also very durable being able to withstand many punches.

Abilities:

•Expert mechanic: Johnny has been and expert mechanic since his teens and when he was 15 who was capable of totally overhauling a cars transmissions.

•Flight: Thanks to all his powers Johnny is capable at flying at very fast speeds even at times reaching 140 mph.

Talents:

•Hand to hand combat: Like the rest of the team Johnny is a good fighter in combat but at times he barely used it due to his powers but when needed he has been known to be quite good.

•Johnny is also an expert driver. He has driven many sport and racing cars too.

Weaknesses:

•Energy depletion: At an average rate of energy use the Torch can maintain his plasma state for about 17 hours before he is forced to revert back to his solid state making him vulnerable.

•Physical condition: Johnny's physical condition also limits his flame duration.

•Fire extinguishing: Like most fires Johnny's source mainly comes from oxygen but this can be extinguished in low air pressure or a vacuum. His flame can also be extinguished by other means such as water, sand, fire blankets and fire fighting foam.

•Fantastic Four power synergism: The Fantastic Four are all tethered together and they act as their own conduits of power. They can be apart from each other for a short time but prolonged separation results in a slow depletion of powers.

Personality:

Johnny is a hothead who lives for thrill and action in battle. He would prefer to fight rather than watch one or even anything else. This approach and attitude tends to disturb or annoys others who do not favour his attitude. He can be serious but this only happens when a close friend or relative of his is in danger. When serious the thrill he has turns into complete focus which he demonstrated when his sister was captured. Johnny loves to also pull many pranks on his teammates whenever he pleases.

History:

Johnny and his older sister Sue, lived uneventfully on Long Island until their mother Mary Storm died in an automobile accident. Their father Franklin Storm having failed to save her turn to booze and gambling ending up in a penitentiary for murder. The children went to live with their aunt Marygay in suburban Glenville where Johnny took a liking to automobiles despite his mother's death and he became a very good mechanic from a young age. Whilst he was still a teenager Johnny rescued two of his friends from a burning building and he was almost chosen as the human host of Zarathos but a man who wanted power for himself but Johnny was able to escape the lure of Zarathos thanks to the help of a young archaeologist whose daughter he had a crush on.

When he was an adult Johnny accompanied his sister Sue and his friends Reed Richards and Ben Grimm on an unauthorised space mission organised by Victor Von Doom. Following an accident on the space mission Johnny and his friends were riddled with radiation and when their flight was back on earth Johnny transformed into a flaming monster of extreme heat and he called himself the Human Torch. Together with the other three Johnny became a founding member of the Fantastic Four but he would also be a very volatile member of their team.Johnny would also leave the team and he would encounter the villain Namor and after struggling against him Johnny rejoined the team to take Namor down. Despite being a member of the world famous Fantastic Four Johnny was still a Glenville High School student and he even at times tried to hide his double identity but it was well known who he was. Johnny would also regularly rejoin and leave team on several occasions making him the most invaluable member of the team.

Appearance:

Johnny has blonde hair and blue eyes and sometimes he covers his face with sunglasses. Johnny also appears wearing the Fantastic Four blue costume of which his is designed to withstand any type of heat when he goes into his fiery form. With the outfit Johnny wears black boots and gloves and he also has a black belt around the waist and the costume also has the Fantastic Four logo on it. When in his Torch form Johnny appears as a red and yellow fiery character capable of playing with the element of fire.

Roleplay Sample

Johnny and the team were working on an experiment to learn more of their new powers when they are called into action in the city. The team gather themselves together and set out to the incident. "I shall go on ahead and meet you guys with my flight to see exactly what is happening" he says as he turns into the Torch and flies to the scene. As Johnny arrived there was a car on fire and another hanging over a bridge and upon seeing this he went to inform the team. "We are going have to act quickly with this one guys as it appears there has been a massive crash and explosion with cars everywhere" he says as the rest of the team soon arrive at the scene of the incident.

Reed gives out the orders and soon Johnny is back in his Torch mode helping out the people who were trapped by fire by absorbing the fire into his own body and soon the team were successful in their quest and Johnny began to celebrate "Yes god we have done it and boy did i do well today" Johnny said boasting to himself and soon the team began to head back to their lab and the experiments Reed was working on continued and Johnny set to play a prank on Ben Grimm teasing him for his rock like form. "Come on Ben what is the matter are you struggling to hold it what a shame would you like me to help?" Johnny says in a joke sort of way to Ben angering him and causing trouble which was what he seemed best at.
