Weapons/equipment:

•The only piece of equipment that The Flash has is a piece called the costume ring in which his suit is contained and when pressed he releases the suit from the ring to form around him.

Powers:

•Superhuman speed: Barry is capable at running and moving at incredible speeds. When he runs he can only be perceived as a blur.

•Superhuman stamina: Barry's body is capable of withstanding the fast moving speeds for very long periods without getting tired or weak.

•Speed force aura: The Flash's body is protected by a friction cushion which is a field of kinetic absorbent energy that protects him or anyone running with or being carried by him against the effects of super speed.

•Aerokenisis: By rotating his arms at super speed or running in a circular motion, Barry can create strong vortexes of wind.

•Electrokinesis: With this power Barry is able to manipulate and generate electrical energy from the use of Speed force.

•Electromagnetism: Due to his electrical generation, Barry posseses some control over magnetism which he uses to control his suits armour. The suit is released from his ring and forms lightning around him.

•Light projection: Barry is able to produce blinding amounts of light through his Speed force lightning.

•Speed force sight: The Speed Force will give Barry visions of the future as well as tidbits of what is to come next.

•Phasing: By vibrating his molecules at atomic level and at exactly the right frequency he can allow himself to phase through objects.

•Criminology: Barry graduated with a degree in forensic science.

•Indomitable will: Barry posseses enough willpower to operate a Green Lantern ring.

•Barry is also highly skilled in forensic science and also in stealth.

•Power instability: Ever since gaining his connection to the negative Speed force Barry has been unable to control his powers. His lightning power and his phasing through objects both became very destructive.

•Vulnerability to dimensional bursts: The speed force which fuel Barry Allen's powers can be disrupted by a potent enough extra dimensional energy burst.

Personality:

Barry Allen is a very laid back character and he is always late arriving to everything and Batman described once that he would have like to have e been more like Barry. Barry also has a huge fear of rollercoasters but at same time he also has a very strong sense of justice and also believes in the death penalty. Allen is also a scientific genius especially when it comes to forensic science and he designed his own costume too. As the Flash he is both serious and uses quips. He is also cocky believing that nobody can match his speed and he is also the fastest man alive. He uses his speed to help defeat enemies. Barry is also the heart and soul of the Justice League.

History:

When Barry Allen was boy his parents were struggling with their relationship and as he prepared to compete in a school spelling bee his mother Nora was struggling to encourage him despite her double shifts and trying to get a divorce from his father. Henry received the divorce papers on the day of the spelling bee and because Nora had to work he took his son to school. Upon returning from work and seeing her son had one the competition she was delighted however Barry's parents argued and he was sent to the bookshop and when he returned his mother had been murdered and his father arrested. Fortunately for Barry his adoptive father Darryl Frye who had been romantically in love with Nora took Barry in.

During his time with his adopted father Barry had been taught that in a case searching for evidence is best Barry decided to become a forensic scientist. For years Barry visited his father in prison and professed that he would look at all evidence and prove his father's in once however after years of searching and getting no results his father broke down and eventually confessed to the crime. The shock of everything that had happened left Barry annoyed that he had not been able to do anything and he tore his lab apart on the night of a storm when suddenly a bolt of lighting burst through the labs window and struck him in the chest causing him to dropped his chemical vials and they doused him. When he woke after a long comatose period he saw that he had super human abilities especially speed. Inspired by Darryl's example, Barry decided to take a symbol for himself and fight for good. He created the ring that held his specially designed costume and he became known as the Flash who was the fastest man alive.

Barry's first meeting with his future team the Justice League came when he was in Central City and tried to stop a fight between Batman and Superman showing his super speed abilities and became surprised when Superman defeated him easily. Batman and Superman joined The Flash and Green Latern on a mission to stop alien creatures from attacking Metropolis and whilst here they would meet Wonder Woman and soon after this they also recruited Aquaman and The Flash went on to join them as more members were recruited to the team and he would become a founding member of the Justice League.

Appearance:

Barry Allen appears as a tall character of an athletic build with fine blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Barry when appearing as the Flash has his personally designed suit which he created himself whisky at school which is red in colour and it has a lightning symbol on it and by the ears their are lightning shaped pieces too. When not in the form of the Flash he has the suit put into a ring he wears all the time which he also designed himself. The lightning on his suit is all yellow in colour and some say the costume is similar to that of Shazam.

Roleplay Sample:

Barry Allen had just joined with the Justice League on their latest mission to defeats some strange snake like beings that were in Central City and he met with his team in the square where they were soon surrounded by then snake like figures "This is going to be tricky as there are so many of them. I shall lure them away with my speed so we can defeat them." He said to his team and once they had agreed with his decision he transformed into the Flash using his ring and began to speed laughing as he went to the creatures chasing him " I would like to see you all try and catch me" He said as he moved even faster.

Barry would lead the beings away from harming any people and soon he was battling them up close defeating each and he went and soon he had hold of one of them and spoke "Let's go for a little ride shall we?" He said as he ran with the being eventually throwing it flying. Soon he returned to the square and now with the majority of enemies defeated he joined the team once more and helped them defeat the creatures and save the people in the square. He was praised by the team for his bravery and quick thinking and he returned their compliment "Thank you i am always happy to help my good friends and we are a team and work together so we really all did very well" He said to Batman.
