•Goggles: Patrick has a groovy pair of goggles which are his trademark. They can also stretch.

•Uniform: Patrick wears a uniform that just like its user can stretch and change shape and it is also unbreakable.

Powers:

•Elasticity/plasticity: Patrick can stretch his limbs and his body to superhuman lengths. It is unknown as to how far he can stretch his body.

•Size alteration: Patrick can shrink himself down to a few inches tall and he can even grow to be as big as a titan.

•Shape-shifting: Patrick is capable of change body contortion such as making himself flat to slide under doors being one of them.

•Superhuman agility: The stretching powers Plastic Man has enable him heightened agility and flexibility which is beyond that of an average human being.

•Superhuman strength: Patrick can increase his strength by adding more muscle to his body.

•Color change: The only limitations Patrick has is when it comes to color, which he cannot change unless with absolute concentration. He does not use this as much and generally sticks to a red and yellow suit.

•Regeneration: Patrick is able to regenerate or assimilate lost body tissue but it does take a long time.

•Skilled acrobat: Being very flexible with his body also makes Patrick a very good acrobat being able to bend into all shapes too.

Weaknesses:

•Vulnerability to heat: His semi liquid form remains stable at generally low or high and low temperatures providing that this temperature change is gradual. A sudden change in temperature causes a total change of phase into either a complete solid or a liquid.

•Vulnerability to chemical solvents: Plastic Man loses his integrity when exposed to chemical solvents such as acetone.

Personality:

Patrick O'Brian is sometimes considered as quite a silly character despite this however he has a brilliant mind and he is also a master burglar and is highly talented when it comes to cracking safes. He also adapts his fighting style to that of the person he is fighting. Sometimes he is a character who is regarded as one that does not take their power or job seriously enough thinking it all as a joke. He is also quite unpredictable and unreliable at times. He has great ability however to prevent entire mental trauma. Some consider him dangerous and powerful at times.

History:

Many years ago the criminal known as Eal O'Brian and he gang broke into a chemical factory attempting to rob a Cole Chemical but they were stopped by the police who arrived. Whilst trying to flee the scene Patrick was shot by police and he was exposed to an acid that fell on him. He later managed to make it outside before collapsing and passing out. When he woke he discovered that his flesh was elastic and he had no control over it and he could form into any shape and this scared people to death. Not being able to cope with what was happening Patrick went to a bridge to commit suicide but he was stopped by his former colleague and Arkham Asylum inmate Woozy Winks.

Instead of being a criminal Patrick and Woozy together decided that it would be best to use his new found powers to fight crime and the pair successfully stopped a robbery from his old gang. Following this Patrick was interviewed by the press and he said he intended to call himself Elastic Man but it was misheard as Plastic Man giving him his name. Plastic Man decided to wear black goggles with a red and yellow suit and he always wore the same never different. Plastic Man later acquired his crazy sidekick friend Woozy and the pair would become good friends and the two of the joined the police squad and later the FBI and together they would complete several mission. During his time surprisingly he would become friends with Batman and he would join the Justice League of America and be the most flexible member of their team. He would later leave them but join again.

Appearance:

Patrick O'Brian appears as character of average height and weight. He has black hair and his has blue eyes. Patrick nearly always appears wearing a pair of quirky black goggles and with these he wears a suit that is red and yellow in colour and it is very flexible. He has tried to appear in different colours many times but he never really seems able too. Patrick has also appeared once as the character of Eal O'Brian who was a master thief and led a group of criminals before leaving them.

Patrick O'Brian had recently joined the Justice League of America and having also recently just got his new powers and started using them for good he met with his friend Batman whom he considered to not be very fond of him. "Hello Bruce it is nice to finally get the chance to join the League it is something i have wanted a while now." he said looking at Bruce. "I know i do seem to be very ridiculous at times Bruce but what i can assure you is that when it comes to fighting crime i am just as good as any man and my flexibility can help to and i shall prove myself to all of you" Patrick said with confidence in his voice to Bruce. Soon the time came for him to prove he was capable and worthy of his place in the Justice League when some criminals were causing chaos. Patrick soon acted quickly and he began fighting adapting himself to their skills. "A nasty lot they were but they have been successfully dealt with" He said to himself quite pleased and Bruce just smiled.
